I have been dancing for 15 years and am a retired pre-professional dancer. I danced competitively for about 4 years and performed in Disneyland's "Dance the Magic" parade twice. I spent 3 years training in Classical ballet, Neoclassical ballet, Character and Contemporary at the Diablo Ballet School in Walnut Creek, California, while also performing in their company's productions of Copellia as a doll and Mazurka dancer, and also as a snowflake in the Nutcracker Suite. I joined Idaho Regional Ballet in 2022 as a Junior Company member, and then proceeded to become a company Apprentice, and then Senior Company member. During my time with Idaho Regional Ballet (IRB) I took part in The Ballet Alliance for 3 consecutive years, where I took Master Classes and Seminars from various instructors such as Nicholas Ade, Eva Stone, Alan Hinline, Lisa Slagle, and Melody Mennite. I have worked with renowned choreographers such as Daniel Ortega, Lauren Edson, Sayoko Knode, Karen Herr, and Lydia Sakolsy-Basquill. Over the course of my career I have danced a total of 15 Nutcracker roles, including Arabian Coffee Lead, Russian Tropak Lead, Ballerina Doll, and Snow Queen. I also have choreographed a contemporary piece for the Senior Dancers in IRB. I am currently teaching and running Nutcracker rehearsals for Idaho Regional Ballet's level 2 and 3 dancers. My knowledge and love for ballet runs so deep, and I have a burning passion to train and teach younger dancers to pass my passion on to them.
