Position maintains accurate and up to date record keeping of required documents for Deck and Engine Officers and shipboard crew. Utilize Flag State databases and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings crew scheduling systems to ensure timely document processing. Ensure valid licenses, certificates and seaman books in order to keep our vessels in compliance with international, flag state and port requirements.
Maintain accurate log of all incoming / outgoing documents, licenses, seaman books.
Review licenses and certificates for STCW compliance for existing and newly hired Deck & Engine officers/crew.
Enter Flag State endorsement and seaman book applications in appropriate Flag State databases (Bahamas Maritime Authority and Marshall Islands).
Liaise with shipboard personnel to obtain necessary National and Flag State applications and certificates.
Scan and upload flag documents in appropriate database (MAPS, MXP)
Distribute certificates/seaman books to all vessels via courier to guarantee delivery and minimize lost documents.

Responsible to assist and guide all shipboard candidates through the initial documentation process required to work onboard Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings vessels
The Onboarding Administrator ensures compliance with company policies and protocol in regard to documentation requirements, and support and maintain adequate manning levels
