- An associate teacher in life skills Special Education, help students with specially designed instruction that is based on district curriculum and is aligned with student’s individualized education program (IEP).
- provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
- Plan program of study that, as much as possible, meets individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
- Created classroom environment from scratch using district appropriate materials from several sources like teacher pay teacher and twinkle amongst others to enable wholesome, appropriate, interesting learning experience for my au kids .
- I Prepare lessons from District provided curriculum by infusing accommodations for individual differences such as communication devices for my non verbal students ,preferential sitting as well .
- I Prepare for Classroom instructions on weekly basis as required assigned and show evidence of preparation in weekly meeting with my Evaluator .
- Using CHAMPS to set classroom expectations with all my kids in order to attain expected classroom climate.
- Adopt use of instructional tools to enable me deliver Academic Instruction to my au kids ,one of my favorites that was clear touch screen which helps me navigate robust curriculum ranging from Interactive Educational movies, Interactive Financial football amongst others.
