  • Undergrad Thesis: Comparative RNA-Seq & Microarray Analysis in Endometriosis, Jun 2024 – Analyzed RNA-seq & microarray datasets using HISAT2, StringTie, DESeq2; identified key differentially expressed genes. Performed functional enrichment and PPI analysis with STRING/Cytoscape, highlighting potential biomarkers.
  • Single-Cell RNA-Seq Analysis Pipeline Development (Nextflow), Jan –May 2025 – Designed and implemented a scalable Nextflow pipeline integrating Cell Ranger, STARsolo, Seurat, and Scanpy for preprocessing, QC, normalization, clustering, and marker gene analysis. Automated workflow for reproducibility and large-scale data handling; generated visualizations and biologically interpreted cell populations.
  • Bioinformatics Relational Database & Web Application, Feb -May 2025 – Built a relational database using MariaDB/SQL with an E-R diagram to efficiently manage and query biological data. Developed a Flask-based web application with interactive HTML/JavaScript interface and AJAX updates for real-time visualizations and data downloads.
  • Interactive RNA-Seq Data Visualization Dashboard (R Shiny), Dec 2024 – Created an interactive dashboard enabling gene filtering, metadata visualization (histograms, violin plots, PCA, heatmaps, scatterplots). Processed raw RNA-seq data with ggplot2, fgsea, and DESeq2 for differential expression and visualization.
  • Python-Based Gene Expression Analysis & Figure Reproduction, Dec 2024 – Reproduced key figures from published studies using matplotlib, performing PCA and hypothesis testing on high-dimensional gene expression data. Conducted exploratory data analysis and prepared a technical report summarizing insights and visualizations.
