- • Oversaw the operations of a 270 MW Single Reheat, Tandem Compounded, Three-Cylinder, condensing steam turbine. Managed a Subcritical, natural circulating drum boiler with a double pass, tangential firing balanced draught, and a rotary air preheater unit.
- • Operated thermal power plant and balance of plant systems with optimal efficiency.
- • Executed Cold Start Up, Hot Start Up, Warm Start Up, Normal Operation, Emergency Handling, and Safe shut down of Units.
- • Conducted line-ups of units and their auxiliaries, facilitated equipment changeovers, performed routine testing of protection systems, and monitored annunciation systems.
- • Oversaw plant operations, handling emergencies such as unit shut-downs and load throw-offs to control generation based on requirements.
- • Conducted Emergency Equipment Trials and efficiently restored processes and equipment.
- • Maintained daily shift activity logbooks and Turbine & Boiler reading log sheets.
- • Proactively identified areas of obstruction or breakdowns, promptly notifying the concerned departments through SAP.
