Responsibilities :

• Individually evaluated 5-6 patients, obtaining their medical information, height and weight measurements, vital signs and EKG's to aid the physician with patient care planning.
• Utilized the EMR system to type notes, perform medical reconciliation, evaluate the need for certain diagnostic procedures, and formulate treatment plans/changes.
• While accompanying Dr. Sartori, was able to observe various procedures such as left atrial appendage occlusion, cardiac catheterization, Impella (LVAD) placement, stent placement, peripheral angiogram, and pacemaker placement.

• Volunteered to spend time with children affected by cancer, engaging in arts and craft as part of Chennai Volunteers.
