- As an Installer, My responsibility is to look over my install project for that day before heading over to my customer resident
- Once I arrive, I introduce myself to the customer
- Give a brief description of what I will be doing throughout the install
- Laid my drops down, set up a plastic cover as well if needed
- Turn off the breaker to the old unit and start the tear down
- After tearing down, I check in unit ro make sure that all of the new materials are accurate
- Prep up the new unit for the install
- Once the new unit was in place, I then wired the unit
- Connect both return and supply plenums depending on what type of unit it is
- Connect ductwork, put the system on nitrogen for leak test
- After I get the vacuum pump to take out any moisture from the system
- Release the refrigerant to turn on the unit for testing
- I work on Heat Pump horizontal and vertical, Gas Furnace horizontal and vertical, Package unit, and Mini Split system
- I am a Universal Epa Certified to handle all types of refrigerant.
