. Armed Denver Government: During My time with HSS Security I have spent the majority of my time at the Denver Motor Vehicle registration Office. Being a DMV Guard was both rewarding and challenging. My duties included Providing security to staff members, the public, responding EMS incidences, writing out detailed Incident reports, hourly patrols outside, Post checks via radio too SOCC (Security operation command center), answering detailed and sometimes complex questions regarding Vehicle registration out of state transfers, helping with scheduling driver's license/ state ID appointments, Crowd control, making sure the public were in the correct offices via county, providing resources and helping the DMV with general day to day tasks. COVID (Arts and Venue Department)- When Covid Hit, the DMV was temporarily closed. During this time, I was reassigned to the Arts and Venue department Downtown Denver. Because the Arts and venue department did have all events shuts down but had an active 8 level dual sided parking garage open to the public, my main purpose was to actively be on patrol. While on patrol I would look out for trespassers vehicle theft and Homeless loitering. This was a 2–3 man patrol of over a mile long. Once the 2 officers returned back to base another 2 officers would immediately go on patrol and we would Monitor surveillance cameras as this property required 3-4 officers per shift. DENVER WATER LIEUTENANT- After Returning back to the DMV I did apply for a Sergeant Position with HSS Denver water under a different Program manager which was a 2–3-month transfer with HSS. When I received confirmation of the transfer, I was asked to take on the responsibility of a lieutenant Shift supervisor role. As a Lieutenant for Denver water, I oversaw all security operations throughout Colorado for Denver waters treatment plants, Pump stations, Reservoir's, lakes Waterton Canyon, and was based out of the Administration Headquarters office. Other duties included the role of being a shift supervisor making the schedules for the week, making sure all officers were accounted for, regular patrol of the administration building and making sure all fleet vehicles were regularly maintained. Once the Contract was up !! with HSS, Denver water did decide to go with Allied Universal for the contract. Although I wanted to stay with HSS, Allied persuaded me to stay to train the new officers of the contract but did not treat me well. Shortly after the transfer to Allied Universal I decided to apply for Securitas.
