I operated abrasive guns to touch up and finish blast products as necessary to assure compliance with established procedures. I used shot peen in critical stress areas. I maintained my equipment performing maintenance such as replacing worn hoses, nozzles, valves, and removed clogs. I used hand tools such as screw drivers, hammers, pliers, and wrench's. I would also use power drills, hand grinders, impacts, and pencil grinders. I filled sandblaster with correct abrasive and regulated controls to adjust flow of abrasive. I’ve used walnut hull, sand, shot blast or other abrasive blasting equipment. I used wash racks, pressure washers, or brushes to clean parts of grease or dirt using solvents, soap/detergent, hot water and steam to clean or protect parts from rust, corrosion, or heavy stuck on grease or dirt. I am an experience forklift and a overhead crane operator. I have done inventory multiple times. I'm a level 2 mag and particle tester. Im a experienced furnace operator. I have experience in heat treating flat bar and plate, I am familiar with a plasma cuter, I have been trained to operate a yard dog, I have experienced in stock and supply and warehouse ,I have experience in data entry. I would insure that hazardous materials or waste within work area was handled guidelines and disposed of properly. I controlled spreadsheets, production planning and Quality control. I would stand, bend, reach, stretch, stoop, twist, and work in tiring or uncomfortable positions.Heavier items I would use material handling equipment such as a tow motor/fork lift or a crane. I ensured all workers on my crew were meeting shop and OSHA requirements.I used precision measuring instruments such as amp meters, voltmeters, tape measures, dial indicators, calipers, protractors, micrometer, and drawing compass to make measurements to tolerances of approximately .0001 inch. I verified incoming parts checking serial numbers, matching paperwork, and traveler for procedures to be performed on parts. I inspected serviceable parts to determine whether usable or non-repairable and suitable for salvage.I would verify procedures matching traveler, blueprints, technical manuals, inspect quality of part.I would verify the material that was used to repair part matches procedure. I use my Personal Protective equipment such as goggles, aprons, etc. I perform metal surface treatment to a variety of components for similar components and hardware. I use a Birmingham hoist to pick up parts that are to heavy. Prior to use I inspect and maintain my straps or chains for cuts, excessive wear, visible damage or breakage to ensure safety for everyone and myself. I assure that all hooks and lifting equipment is the appropriate positions. I frequently stand, stoop, bend, reach, and lift handling objects weighing up to 20 pounds and occasionally objects weighing as much as 50 pounds. I determine when material is properly treated by color range and assures that quality requirements are met. I assist other employees with set-ups and problem solving and they come to me for ideas for ways to do things. I work with intricate shape parts coated with stop-off materials and containing various shading devices requiring close hand-eye coordination in using trimming instruments and heating devices to shape, form and trim perfect edges.
