• I would work in either refineries or plants as a Firewatch, Hole watch, or Bottle watch. Doing 10-12 hour shifts outside all day. I would work with different companies in turnarounds, going through their work permits, making sure everything was good, and filling out paperwork for my company and for the job site. I would make sure all the proper precautions were taken and let the workers know if I see something wrong. I had to make sure I had good communication to know what was going on and proper radio etiquette to communicate with fellow coworkers. When needed, we would pick up trash around the facility, make sure it was clean, and sweep.

At O'Reilly Distribution center, I would either be a Battery Stacker, Unloader, or give material to checkers.

As an unloader, I would use an electric pallet jack to unload pallets of returned merchandise from the trailers and load them onto the floor. Then, I would give them pallets of merchandise to the checkers while helping them with heavy items. Then, as a battery stacker, we would take batteries from totes and stack them on pallets.

• As a food runner at Topgolf, I would help prepare and load trays with food. Then, when ready, we would take these trays and distribute them, going up and down flights of stairs, constantly moving and making sure customers were happy and had everything they needed. Make sure when shift was done, either make sure everything was stocked up or everything was cleaned and ready for the next day.

• At Whataburger, I would either be a cook, fryer, grill, or window. At the grill, I would make sure the grilled chicken was good, and the patties were ready. Being a cook, I would have to make the burgers and make sure they were ready and right, making sure to have no problems, and wrapping all of it together. Being on the fryer, I would be in control, putting all the fried things together, making sure everything was ready, and distribute it to the orders. At the window, you would make sure you have the drinks ready and get the right order ready for the next customer, giving it to the customers with good customer service.
