Accomplishments
- In 2019/2020 I was the sole application developer & owner for GradGuard's Tuition Insurance system, including managing several integrations over the following couple of years. This would go on to account for (roughly) half of their business & is their most bug-free application! The technology & design patterns I implemented would go on to be the "standard" for all future back-end applications.
- In 2021 I worked with another organization, AcquireCrowd, with streamlining their large quantity of integrations with different lead-generation companies.
Hobbies
- My biggest hobby is music, and every day I can be found playing the piano. I love key-based instruments, notably piano & organ, and I draw a lot of influence from Keith Emerson, Ray Manzarek & Pink Floyd. I also play guitar, drums, and while I'm not as good as I used to be, I enjoy singing.
- I love gaming. I grew up playing Final Fantasy & Elder Scrolls games, although now I play a bit of everything.
- I love to read. Sci-Fi & Fantasy in particular. I am a huge Isaac Asimov fan & I could talk your ear off about the Asimov universe.
- I grew up on Kung Fu movies and this year I started training in Kung Fu & Tai Chi.
