Conducted pre-activity surveys for nesting birds, woodpeckers, SKR, SBKR, and other special status species on multiple SCE projects. These projects include Transmission Right-Of-Way, Vegetation Management, Routine Line Clearing, and Deteriorated Pole. Tailboarded with crews and monitored construction activities, such as vegetation clearing, road grading, and pole replacements. Ensured minimal impacts/avoidance in environmentally sensitive areas and jurisdictional drainages/wetlands. Most work took place in the Antelope Valley, Inland Empire, San Bernardino Mountains, San Jacinto Mountains, and other areas in Southern California.

Conducted angler surveys to assess catch rates and record the length and weight of stocked rainbow trout in Silverwood Lake for DWR. Additionally, trained new staff members on survey protocols to maintain accuracy and consistency in data collection processes.

Conducted nesting bird surveys ahead of vegetation clearing and sediment excavation activities conducted by construction teams. Monitored construction operations to guarantee adherence to biological compliance, including proper placement and maintenance of BMPs, in-water work protocols, and machinery leakage procedures. Collaborated closely with LADPW and construction personnel to facilitate seamless communication and ensure environmental compliance throughout project phases.

Monitored and analyzed the turbidity, oxygen levels, conductivity, streamflow, and total dissolved solids across various streams and confluences in the San Gabriel River system to uphold adherence to the Los Angeles Region Basin Plan. Deep understanding of factors influencing daily variations in water quality parameters. Effectively communicated findings to LADPW and construction teams, ensuring continuous maintenance of prescribed environmental standards.
