Started with this company as a labor and quickly worked my way up to a light operator. I learn fast by just watching and paying attention, so it’s always easy for me to improve and I’m always looking for learning and growing in the job I’m in.
I started with the smooth drum roller, rolling inverter pads, then I watched how the skid operator built the pads, soon I was running my own crew building inverter pads.
Over time I worked my way up to running different equipment, soon I was running a John Deere 650k Dozer backfilling MV & DC trenches.
Worked the Loader to load up Belly-Dumps, and Supers with gravel to build the roads on the job site.
I started using the motor grader from time to time, it was a John Deere 750k with joysticks, building roads but to be honest when I actually got good at it is when I moved company’s to work for Solv Energy.
Overall I’m a hard worker, I’m good at learning new things and taking on responsibilities, never miss a day of work and always willing to work over time, I love what I do and I enjoy doing it.
