I provided medical care for campers ages 5–18+ with physical and neurological disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being in a dynamic setting. My responsibilities included preparing and administering medications, including emergency treatments, while maintaining accurate documentation. I triaged and addressed minor injuries, chronic conditions, and acute medical concerns, prioritizing care based on individual needs. Additionally, I monitored and responded to seizures, administered emergency medications, and managed G-tube feedings. Beyond medical care, I supported campers’ behavioral health by assisting with emotional regulation, de-escalation strategies, and individualized interventions. This experience strengthened my ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care while responding effectively to both routine and urgent medical situations.
