Work History

U.S Army National Guard
09.2024 - 09.2029
  • Shipped off to basic Combat Training (BCT) at FT Sill from January 28 and graduated on April 11th. In this process from being a civilian to a soldier, I went through various events of training while living in a stressful, organized and disciplined environment on a day to day basis. Every day (not including Sundays) as a trainee I would start the day with my whole platoon forming up in an organized formation at 0500 to take accountability of every trainee who is there and who isn’t there following an hour of physical training (PT). From there we proceeded to our training for the day. Our training included physically challenging obstacle courses, a repel tower, team building exercises, experiencing the gas chamber, going through Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) training, practicing riflemanship and becoming certified to use an M4A1, going through grenade training, and went through 3 different field training exercises.
  • Shipped off to Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Joint Base San Antonio Ft Sam Houston from April 12th through October 10th.
  • For my AIT, I went through training for my specific Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) which is a combat medic. For this training, similar to BCT, our company would form up in an organized and disciplined manner at 0430 for accountability purposes and then conduct PT from Monday to Friday. But this training prepared me for my MOS, which included going through a civilian EMT course on base, following taking the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians to then becoming EMT certified. After this training, I moved on to my second half of training which taught me how to use my EMT skills and experience, and plus more skills that our NCOs have taught us such as how to do blood transfusions, proper and safe drug and fluid administration, how to apply tourniquets and the different kinds of ways on how to apply a tourniquet, packing wounds, ETC. I have also learned how to be a medic in a potential battlefield while also learning infantry tactics.

  • Here at Wells Fargo I had the experience to be a sales representative at the teller line. In this position I had the privilege to interact with our customers the whole day and pitch our different products to our customers depending on their need while at the same time I would handle whatever transaction the customer would request of me, which would include deposits, withdrawals, payments, etc.
