• Provides expert management of the grant’s portfolio through the coordination of all aspects of grant administration to ensure the smooth implementation of grants pre- and post-award.
• Maintains a strong working knowledge of organizational priorities, convenes, and facilitates meetings with key stakeholders for concept development on priority topic areas, and coordinates resources for proposal development.
•Directs the preparation of proposal budget development, prepares the final budget, facilitates the mechanics of proposal development and submission, including project management, coordinating assignments, and writing as needed, coordinates the final packaging of the grant for submission, and submits proposals into all major systems.
• Reviews all awarded grants and sub-awards and supports implementation for the full grant lifecycle.
• Assist the Director in preparing budgets for divisional research and clinical and administrative activities, following University guidelines.
• Prepare supporting budget schedules and perform budget reconciliation and analysis.
• Prepare financial forecasts and explain budget variances on an ongoing basis and as needed by the Department and University.
• Oversee pre-award & post-award administration of all federal and non-federal grant accounts.
• Supervise the divisional administrative support staff, or delegate supervisory function where appropriate.
