Adrianna Pope

At the Plainfield Park District, I worked part time during the summer months with 2-14 year olds teaching them the fundamentals of various sports. I taught sports such as soccer, T-ball, basketball, flag football, and kickball.

While also at the park district, I supervised multiple sports leagues such as adult softball, pickleball, T-ball, and flag football.

I was often requested by my supervisors to take on additional roles and responsibilities.

While I worked at 7Brew I prepared drinks, took customers' orders, served and talked to customers, and organized the stand's stock. I also worked during the stand's busy hours maintaining a good flow of making and taking drink orders. Working at 7Brew it was a close team environment with positive attitudes and high spirits. I also had many responsibilities at 7Brew.

While at the Joliet Park District helped lead specialized learning camp for 3-5 year olds, teaching foundational reading, writing, and spelling skills. We provided many different activities and crafts that allowed them to practice these skills.

I graduated high school with a 3.9 GPA. I received honor and high honor roll during time at Plainfield South High School. I was a part of National Honor Society as a member and was elected treasurer of the program.

During my junior and senior years I was a part of program named SCORE where I participated in the special need gym class. I was paired with multiple students who had various disabilities. My senior during the program my teacher paired me with a very shy girl with developmental disabilities and epilepsy. By the end of the year I brought her out of shell and she is thriving.

I was also a student-athlete for the softball team all four years of high school.

I am currently a junior at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. I am a marketing major with a graphic design minor, I am also a part of the Scholars Program. I have been apart of the Dean's List as well a being recognized as a scholar student-athlete by the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) my freshman and sophomore years.

I am currently a student-athlete for the softball team at Benedictine University.
