Committed firefighter and EMT with one year of experience. I have been in situations where I have saved a life. I have also had situations where I am capable of operating and driving an ambulance. I have been a part of the fire suppression of a vehicle and one residential home. In the one-year span of being a firefighter, I have had a good amount of experience.

My name is Sean Lecuyer, I am a part time Fire 1/EMT, enrolled in a fire 2 course, looking to go full time with your respected department. I have worked at Epping Fire & Rescue for around a year and a half now responding to a variety of emergency situations, including but not limited to structure chimney car and forest fires as well as a numerous number of medical emergencies and motor vehicle accidents. Throughout my time working in the fire service, I’ve had to apply quick thinking, and rapid intervention to both fire/rescue and EMS calls respectively. In scenarios such as these where you are given little time to both think and act, I constantly find myself falling back on my training. Since I was first affiliated with my department as of January of last year, I have taken every opportunity to further my knowledge and understanding of the job and the responsibilities that come with it. From the vehicles that take us to and from the emergencies to the tools we carry with us, I believe in the necessity of a thorough understanding of all the items and apparatus we have at our disposal. I have spent countless hours outside of scheduled shifts and trainings, training with members of my department, taking every opportunity I can to better myself as a fireman and as an EMT. In addition to searching for training opportunities both in and outside of NH I also plan on enrolling in a bridge program for a fire science degree. I hope my experiences and thoughts find you well and I look forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

I have the ability to quickly think under pressure and remain calm in stressful situations while maintaining situational awareness. Over a decade of experience in efficiently responding to all emergencies, I'm proficient in performing emergency diagnostic and treatment procedures.

I am highly trained in the fields of EMS and First Response. During the Covid Epidemic, I worked for FEMA in California. Because of the emergence of the situation, we were allowed to work a step above our certification. So I my time there working in a paramedic capacity. I also have a technical and industrial back round. I'm flexible hard worker ready to learn and contribute to team success. Also, I'm a very dedicated employee known for punctuality, pursuing employment options where good customer service and positive attitude will make a difference.
