Oversees the inspection, repair, and maintenance of eight radio broadcast facilities, and related broadcasting equipment, within the MINUSCA area of operations. The broadcast facilities are equipped with broadcast consoles, other studio equipment, computer-assisted radio automation systems, tools and software, studio transmitter links, FM, remote broadcasting equipment including a satellite interconnect system, and other associated ancillary systems and support equipment.

Assist in the planning, developing, and implementation of MINUSCA public information broadcast technology projects, in close cooperation with the MINUSCA Field Technology Section and other mission support and planning staff.

• Maintained broadcast equipment to ensure proper functioning during broadcasts.
• Performed routine maintenance on broadcast systems and components.
• Installed new hardware components such as cables and connectors into broadcast systems.
• Set up microphones for interviews and other events that required sound recording.

• Set up, operate and maintain audio equipment for live broadcast events.
