
I have been employed over a decade as a nurse. I consider myself a well rounded nurse. I enjoy a challenge. In my years I have worked with many personalities both easy and difficult. I feel I am able to mesh well with my peers. I am a strong leader and love to teach and learn. I enjoy helping others and find great pride in mentoring. It is important to me to advocate for my patients regardless of financial status. I am both morally and ethically sound.
Over the years I have continued to strengthen my education whether it be through community health, disease prevention or education. I have received extensive training regarding opioid and alcohol abuse and treatment including but not limited to drug recognition expert training provided by CHP.
At this point in my career I would like to work in a department that will allow me to use my skills and continue to grow and obtain new ones. Opportunity for growth and advancement are important to me. I am a dedicated, loyal and dependable employee that enjoys a fast paced challenging environment. I understand the importance of finding balance in providing customer service with firm boundaries when dealing with the public.
