Awarded multiple grants through the Wallingford Education Foundation, allowing me to:
- Establish a program to assist families without transportation in getting to and from school events.
- Travel to Washington State to attend training at Cedarsong Nature School, a fully outdoor preschool.
- Launch Kinderwoods, a monthly nature immersion program for Kindergartners and preschoolers. Since its creation over 600 children have participated in the program.
Selected Wallingford Public Schools teacher of the year for the 2012-2013 school year.
Chosen to attend the Neag School of Education PreK-3 Leadership Program for the 2023-2024 school year. Will earn a fellowship in March, 2024.
Scheduled to present at a national conference in March, 2024 on the topic of play in the elementary classroom
