Accomplishments

Awarded multiple grants through the Wallingford Education Foundation, allowing me to:

  • Establish a program to assist families without transportation in getting to and from school events.
  • Travel to Washington State to attend training at Cedarsong Nature School, a fully outdoor preschool.
  • Launch Kinderwoods, a monthly nature immersion program for Kindergartners and preschoolers. Since its creation over 600 children have participated in the program.

Selected Wallingford Public Schools teacher of the year for the 2012-2013 school year.
