Multiple duties at different times, working in the records department review and upload documents into online storage system, update tracking systems and process records request all while maintaining HIPPA and Confidentiality. While working the lab the duties were gathering orders from the physician, entering into the system, scheduling patients to come to the lab, collecting the specimen needed to complete the order, process the specimen as required, prepare it for transport and complete the paperwork. Once results came back the results were attached to the file and sent to the physician for their review.
