Accomplishments in first FY of program:

  • Momentum in new message pull-through on topic of DevSecOps platform from 0% to: 44% of CEO media opps; 56% of CMSO media opps; 40% of CFO media opps; and 100% of CPO (Product Officer) media opps. Efforts contributed to Gartner creating a new category for DevOps Platforms in 2023 (with GitLab recognized as a Leader) - a company-wide goal.
  • Successful message pull-through on topic of Future of Work: 76% of CEO media opps, 67% of CMSO speaking opps, and 100% of CPO (People Officer) media opps.

  • Collaborated with key internal stakeholders to ensure company messaging consistency, with all executive comms efforts tying back to brand vision, mission, and/or promise to customer.
  • Designed programmatic strategy for FY to support key marketing campaigns, then tailored overall executive comms strategy into individual plans for each executive.
  • Partnered with brand team to amplify compelling customer stories in events, speaking engagements, etc.

Accomplishments:

  • Executive Communications program contributed to 8% increase in total SOV for FY21 (Global: 14%; US: 15%, International: 11%, Tier 1: 13%).
  • Executive communications program successes increased 50% from FY20 to FY21 (i.e., award wins, bylines,
    podcasts/media interviews, events, speaking engagements, media commentary).
  • 19 total award wins in targeted industry + field categories (e.g., multiple Stevie Award wins over three consecutive years, Globee Awards, Best in Biz Awards, Transform Awards, etc.).
  • 40+ published bylines in targeted tier 1 business + industry outlets (e.g., Forbes, Entrepreneur, Medium, ERP News, etc.).
  • Joint effort with brand team to execute video news release for Epicor Industry Insights Report FY21, resulting in 175 online placements, 345 broadcast mentions, 16,000,000+ impressions.
  • Managed, produced CEO keynote for The Economist Innovation@WorkSummit virtual event in Oct. 2021. Session was 2nd highest attended sponsor breakout, beating Microsoft and Google, with 10.5% conversion to CEO's presentation from total attendees and 9% from presentation to virtual booth visits.
