Accomplishments

  • Major role for content design, customization, and testing of SIS anesthesia software for transition from paper charting to EMR in all anesthetizing locations
  • Primary role in design and build of all anesthesia modules for transition to Cerner EMR. Responsible for coordination with pharmacy and nursing during build and testing, liaison to IT for device integration planning and testing in all anesthetizing areas, and ongoing backend maintenance of the system
  • Key role in early stages and subsequent expansion of first all CRNA acute pain service for the department of anesthesia at ROH. Served as ultrasound guided nerve block instructor for CRNA staff
