Through my roles at HonorHealth and Boys and Girls Club, I have been able to speak to multiple people with different personalities. This has fostered a confidence in my communication skills and has been applicable in various scenarios. My time at Kumon and being an AMHI volunteer has helped me excel at teamwork activities and independent tasks. I have become comfortable with scenarios changing in mere seconds, and have been able to adapt quickly. My role at Kumon has led me to become a reliable leader that can answer many questions ranging from kids, parents, and fellow workers.
Once COVID had struck down, my mother started to use more recipes. When my mother stopped baking, I took it as my time to shine and baked multiple goodies ranging from pizza to red velvet brownies. My love for baking developed due to the stress relief and escape it gave me from my responsibilities, and let me relax.
I started to make bracelets in my 8th grade summer going into high school. Having heard all the horror stories, I became nervous about all the stress that may overcome me. In an effort to find a release valve, I turned to crafts, specifically making bracelets. They have become an extremely fun and time consuming hobby that I love to complete.
