Afia Kwabiaa Baah

A dedicated physician and High-Level Medical Advisor to the First Female Vice President of Ghana, currently operating at the intersection of clinical care, national governance, and public health policy. With a strong research background in chronic disease (rheumatology) and women's health, I seek the Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics to master the advanced quantitative methodologies, surveillance systems, and study design principles necessary to generate the evidence base required for effective health system reform in Ghana.

• Community Health Screening, 2018, 2025, Led and participated in annual Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer Awareness Programs (2018–2025), personally conducting free community screenings for over 200 women and delivering educational hubs in marketplaces and fishing communities in Tesano and Korle Gonno.
• University of Ghana Medical Students’ Association, Fundraising and Resource Mobilization, 2019, 2020, Chaired the Fundraising Committee for the University of Ghana Medical Students’ Association (2019–2020), leading the national campaign that donated a colposcopy machine to the Reproductive Health Unit at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, directly enhancing clinical capacity for women's reproductive health.
