Use functions and operations of automated business systems such as BEST FIN (previously PeopleSoft) and SC Logic to perform various warehouse duties. Use company vehicles to make deliveries, and it is my responsibility to decide which vehicle and equipment I will need to complete the task at hand. Cargo vans and 24’ trucks with lift gates and air brakes are used for completing deliveries as well as essential equipment/tools such as forklift, electric pallet jack, hand truck, etc. Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations. Duties consist of delivering and exchanging Mail Bags at various stops. There are eleven MPC/JET delivery routes. Responsible for loading LACOE vehicle at the beginning of the day and unloading upon completion of assigned route. Delivery items include mail bags, bins with payroll checks, bundles of paper/statement printouts, and miscellaneous boxes and packages. Each route has a specific company vehicle assigned to it. Responsible for refueling vehicles via a company gas card and submitting a monthly Gas Expense Report. Also required to keep vehicles clean and washed. In-training for Warehouse Lead position. Primary duties consist of supervising and managing all warehouse and shipping operations. This included loading skids onto trailers and assuring proper paperwork was signed and submitted. Provided assistance in maintaining dock security in the warehouse. Responsible for warehouse clean-up duties. Inventoried materials on work floor, and supplied workers with materials as needed. Assured product was pulled and shipped properly. Distributed product to customers according to quantity ordered. Also responsible for managing additional customer accounts.
