Work History

Customer Associate

Macy’s Valley Fair Mall
San Jose, USA
04.2022 - 06.2022
  • Put clothing back on racks - What I learned from this is that it is imperative to learn of the essential ways of putting back clothes effectively, and address the nuances of properly putting them back in an organized fashion, so they look appealing to the prospective buyers, and to the next candidate for purchase.
  • Sorted out changing rooms - The extent to which changing rooms needed to be cleaned was a never-ending duty, which I was gladly happy to clean, as I am content with the broom and dust pan. Cleaning the area was especially relaxing. Taking the clothes from the changing rooms and putting them on the racks was a duty that was relatively easy.
  • Saw customers to changing rooms - Seeing customers to the changing room was a highlight as I got to take the customers to the rooms (which I ardently prefer to be in myself), and asked if they needed anything while tidying up the changing rooms and cleaning the rooms.
  • Did multiple duties on cash register - I accomplished transactions that were beneficial to the customer as well as myself, showcased our various Macy’s memberships, did refunds, folded clothing and put them in bags. It was a job that was very strenuous but at the end of the day the customer needs to be satisfied.
  • Folded clothing on tables - As an avid clothing connoisseur there is nothing more wonderful than having a clothing table that is neat and tidy (and it was tough work I’ll tell you that much). The brand clothing that I readily wanted to be tidied up was always out of sorts (just like my mind when I saw it).

Data Entry Volunteer

ING (Islamic Networking Group)
01.2013 - 01.2015
  • Did data entry for middle school, high school, and colleges regarding perception and awareness on Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, and Buddhism. I sat at a computer doing data entry. I learned Excel is very hard to work with if not taught properly; but, I achieved what I needed to.
