During my tenure as a remote research fellow under the supervision of Dr. Sohail Abdul Salam at the department of internal medicine, division of nephrology, our collaborative efforts yielded two peer-reviewed publications.

• Online Research Club (ORC)

During my tenure as a senior member of the ORC from July 2015 to April 2017, my responsibilities included conducting systematic reviews, meta-analyses, clinical, and survey studies. I spearheaded research teams of junior researchers, imparting upon them fundamental knowledge of medical research methodologies. This encompassed database searching, literature review, study design, sampling, basic statistics, and data analysis. Additionally, I provided guidance on scientific writing.

The ORC was established by Dr. Nguyen Tien Huy, an Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical Product Development, Institute of Tropical Medicine (NEKKEN), a leading graduate school program, and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Nagasaki University, Japan.

• Medical Research Group of Egypt

In 2015, I joined the Medical Research Group for Egypt (MRGE), the first student-led clinical research community in Egypt. This nationwide collaboration facilitated the advancement of clinical research knowledge and conduct among medical students and physicians in Egypt through workshops, online webinars, and clinical research projects. Our contributions to the MRGE resulted in several publications in peer-reviewed journals.
