Project Manager (Client Representative

  • Managing the projects with the client and the contractor as project manager for Qatar National Bank
  • General Services as client our scope to prepare the design for the bank branches, to prepare the tenders along with evaluations of bidders and to do all supervision and construction until closing the project
  • Study shop drawing, soil test report, project specification and plan schedule of works
  • Any lack of information and details raise Request for Information by the contractor
  • Ensure full implementation, monitoring and checking of all Structural and Architectural works as per approved shop drawing, method statement, Inspection and Test plan interfaced to the project requirements
  • Review and approved method statement for all the project activities and check its implementation with the project standards and general specifications
  • Inspection of materials as per approved materials submittal, project specification, local and international standards
  • Witness materials test, check laboratory test report and keep record

  • Assess the performance capability of the sub-contractors to be appointed/engaged by the contractor to execute the underlying contracts financed by the bank

  • Review Letter of Credit requests under projects financed, as and when a technical engineering verification is required, compared to the previously verified schedule against actual progress on site
  • Liaise with the engineering consulting firm engaged by the Bank for allocating the required work and supervising the execution through periodical progress reports
  • Supervise the process of the Quarterly Progress Reports on all projects financed by the bank which are required to be monitored by the external engineering consultant and personally conduct sites’ visits when deemed necessary/requested by the management
  • Oversee, and act as conduct between Business groups and Engineering consultants, ensuring that required work is done in relation to RE/project/contract financed by the Bank
  • Attend periodic progress meetings with Project Consultants and Contractors
