• Contributing to development and strategy for the ALM, investment and trading desks for future growth plans.
• Planning and executing deals in financial markets including FX and Money Market.
• Directing ALM and trading desks to achieve optimum portfolio mix and profitability targets.
• Design and develop new products, forecast FX rates, analyze and provide market information to enable better decision making.
• Assist Treasurer in preparation of annual budgets and performance plans.

VP - Head FX - Treasury Division

2009 June – 2011 July Key Responsibilities:

• Managing Foreign Exchange Institutional Desk and Treasury Marketing Unit.
• Developing strategy for FX Investments and Fund Management in consultation with the Head Treasury.
• Recommending investment opportunities to competent authority (ALCO).

• Initiating short and long term investments keeping in view the company’s liquidity requirement and profitability.
• Treasury relationship management with large corporate clients, local & International Banks.
• Cash management services.
• Responsible for the preparation and review of financial analysis related to the following Treasury functions: Gap chart analysis, Cash flow projections and Exchange and Placement interest income statement.

• Managing Overdraft portfolio (Swift Finance, Secured Lending) under Wealth Management, Consumer Banking Group and introduced new product (Financing against Shares) under the same product code.
• Responsible for timely delivery of support activities e.g. Marketing, Operations, Admin etc.
• Ensure maximum productivity and response from Sales channels by extensive traveling and coverage of nationwide branch network.
