· Effectively provide evaluations, assessments, and skilled occupational therapy interventions to patients with various spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, brain injuries, orthopedic conditions, and other medical conditions requiring acute rehabilitation

· Primarily specialized in occupational therapy interventions, discharge planning, equipment trial, recommendation, and training for spinal cord injury and neurological disorders.

· Provide assisted technology consultation, evaluation, equipment ordering, and training to patients and caregivers, mainly for customized wheelchairs, seating systems, and shower systems.

· Supervise and mentor entry-level occupational therapists, newly hired therapists, and students as clinical instructors for USC’s Motor Control course and Level I & II Fieldwork students.

· Supervise and mentor other occupational therapists in Physical Agent Modalities, including Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES), Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NEMS), Ultrasound therapy, and Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), and Kinesiotaping application. Proficient in FES bike, XCite FES, Bioness, IF/TENS, Kinesiotaping, and leukotaping.

· Lead OT group sessions, focusing on Spinal Cord Injury lectures, fine-motor skill group, and facility orientation to newly admitted patients and families.

· Participate in weekly interdisciplinary meetings with a care team consisting of a physician, nursing staff, case manager, neuropsychologist, and other rehabilitation therapists.

· Participate in unit-based patient education and quality care programs, including the Spinal Cord Injury lecture series, monthly Task Force meeting, monthly Journal Club, and daily IDT huddle.
