As head plumber my duties are as follow but not limited.
Install, maintain, and repair pipes including joints, valves, drains and fixtures.
Respond to plumbing emergencies, determine issue, make repairs as needed.
Inform Chief Building Engineer if additional follow-up is needed.
Perform regular maintenance on plumbing systems through out facility to prevent emergencies.
Maintain inventory of plumbing equipment's, tools and supplies.
Prepare work orders and follow up with customers on services.
Make recommendations on replacements of plumbing structures.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Perform plumbing wellness checks daily.
Replace washers and faucets, clear clogged drains, install and repair garbage disposals, clean traps, repair sanitary equipment, cut and threads pipe, replace pipe sections.
Respond to leak reports by troubleshooting lines to find source of leak.
Perform general maintenance work on boilers, hot water heaters and other equipment's and perform minor electrical repairs.
Refer problems that need further attention to Chief Building Engineer.
Assist as needed in the performance of general maintenance work on plant-type HVAC operations.
Troubleshoots lines to find source of leak, cuts holes in walls, measures, threads and replaces pipe, installs connections and fixtures.
