Learning to support electrical grid planning and analysis. Gaining experience in testing the electrical performance of equipment such as transformers and understanding maintenance strategies. Developing knowledge of grid performance evaluation and utility operations to contribute to future infrastructure and reliability projects.
Performed and recorded tests on support structures of various job sites. Worked with civil engineers and laborers to problem solve and discuss the structures’ performances.
Designed and manufactured a water valve to be compatible with a soft robot, while also achieving specified fluid flow. Used SolidWorks, ANSYS, hand calculations, 3D printing, among other tools.
