- As an egg collector, I would pick eggs from conveyor belts coming in from the barn, differentiate good versus bad eggs, clean the eggs, date the eggs, and then clean the collection room for the next day.
- During time with flocks, I would also be tasked with walking barns for dead and to scale and Zero feed for the next day.
- During the time between flocks, when the barns are empty, I would be tasked, along with others, to clean the barns to prepare for new chickens. That would include getting rid of built-up feces, cleaning slats (raised flooring with holes), walls, ceiling, nesting boxes, and nesting pads over the course of 2 to 3 months.
- Experience with weed-eating and property care.
