• Chemistry Lab: Worked with a partner to cover a range of topics such as quantum mechanics, elementary covalent bonding, transition metals, chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, oxidation-reduction and electrochemistry, and intermolecular forces and solutions.
• Physics Lab: Worked with a partner to cover elementary mechanics, vectors, Newton’s laws, inverse square force laws, work, energy, conservation of momentum and energy, oscillations, geometric optics, statics and dynamics of fluids, introductory thermodynamics, and wave motion in matter.
• Earth Science Lab: Covers the identification of major rock-forming minerals and common rock types as well as the principles of basic crystallography, Miller Indices and map interpretation. Understanding of geophysical processes occurring within the planet.
• Field Work: Worked within a group to interpret geologic rock formations and draw conclusions based off of available data. Additionally, worked within a group to collect samples from the field in order to test for geochronologic and isotope data using a mass spectrometer. Explored coastlines and identified relevant facies to create stratigraphic sections detailing environments and system tracts.
