I had the skills and game knowledge to correct their basic fundamentals and implement strategies to win us games and get us to the championship. However, I thought of it as more than that. I had the ability to be a mentor, be there for them in more ways than just basketball. Lead them to be a better version of themselves at the end by teaching them core leadership values, such as spirit, communication, hustle, approach to situations, being precise, and making the most out of everything.
