- Grind off excess weld material from joints using portable grinders or buffers.
- Operate cutting torch or welding machine to cut or join metal parts according to layout specifications.
- Install hardware on fabricated items such as hinges, handles or brackets using hand tools.
- Repair worn parts by welding on extra layers of metal.
- Performed cutting work while adhering to blueprints and design specifications.
