Aidan McKenzie

I am a freshman at Cal Poly majoring in construction management. I am inspired by problem-solving and design and would like to build amazing things that will have a lasting impact. I am an efficient worker skilled in operational flow in fast paced environments. I am known for my productivity and reliability in completing tasks swiftly while maintaining high standards of service. I excel in adaptability, and I am highly motivated and desire to take on new challenges.

• Provided one-on-one calculus support, explained problem-solving strategies, developed review packets, and graded assignments. I shared the knowledge I had gained with students who needed help.

Teaching Assistant — AP & College Prep Biology | Bellarmine College Preparatory | Grade: 12

• Supported four AP Biology sections and one college-preparatory biology section through grading, projects, and lab preparation, and I helped classmates learn concepts and complete assignments.
• Provided student support during free periods and remotely.

• Competed in regional, national, and international regattas. Competed at Henley Royal Regatta in the United Kingdom, requiring a dedicated summer training commitment.
• Trained approximately 18 hours per week in season, developing discipline, teamwork, and the ability to learn from experienced athletes and pass that knowledge on to younger teammates.
