- I've worked at Walmart online grocery for 1 year, where I picked, stored, prepped, and delivered groceries to cars in a parking lot, confirmed the order with them, and then loaded the order. They sometimes had special requests as to where and how the groceries would be placed. I took customers' phone calls, whether they were questions or complaints. I often had to use a computer to change the delivery of the order to the customer's satisfaction, or had cancel orders as well. The Walmart online grocery delivery service had us confirm with the driver that the orders were correct and properly separate them into sections of the cars. Orders were based on customer demand for the day. Some days were slow, some days had too many orders for the staff to handle.
