As an aspiring finance major in Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and Hutton Honors College, I'm seeking to transform the knowledge I possess about the financial sector into valuable skills needed for a future career. I excel at evaluating complex financial data through precise data analysis as well as communicating research and project in a professional and interpersonal manner. Also, I recognize the significance of creating and maintaining contacts with people/clients in the financial industry. Luckily, I have a passion for connecting with new people and look forward to building future relationships within the financial field.
As a food runner I had a variety of responsibilities. First, I oversaw oversaw and reported kitchen inventory to top management. Also, I frequently interacted with customers by asking about meals to assess satisfaction and collect vital feedback. However, the most important aspect of my job involved effectively multitasking during busy hours due to the fast-paced environment.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I was an employee for DYAD Enterprise, a company formed in early 2020 as a response to the pandemic. As an employee, I was able to help provide millions of COVID test kits to hospitals all across the east coast by working in the logistics department of the company. I assisted top management by packaging the COVID test kits, storing them in the company's warehouse, and preparing the kits to be shipped and delivered to clients.
My team, the Pope John Paul II Youth and Philanthropy Club, raised money to support local charities within our Philadelphia community. Our group was responsible for managing and allocating our raised funds to aid chosen causes. Also, we supported other community organizations in their fundraisers and other charitable initiatives.
