CNC SURFACE GRINDER

- -Operating a CNC bevel grinder and grinding blades to thousandths of an inch to conform to the specs provided per job.
- FINISH
- -Radpol: Cleaning off the radius of the tang on a belt grinder and ensuring that the product meets the criteria provided in the standard work.
- -Pemming: Inserting bushings into liners provided by milling.
- LINER CELL
- -Vibe: vibe is used to clean up the liners and ensure the liner is bur free and cleaned of debris.
- -Liner surface: Liner surface is ensuring the liners are to a set thickness and measured to the thousandths of an inch. To ensure the liner can fit into the blade handle we also use gauges for each job.
- -Liner straightening: In liner straightening is to ensure all the liners are not bent and use a system of nobs to a certain height depending on case-by-case basis.
- DRILL TAP
- -This process is to ensure the liners do not have burs on the liner where the bushing will go.
- CNC LASER
- -In laser-bay the following operations are laser cut and laser grind. Laser cut is where we weigh the sheet of metal and set the program to the correct metal and SKU of blade the job requires. Laser grind is the operation when the sheet and blades have been cut out and needs to be processed which entails cleaning off the burs of the entire sheet with hand grinding wheel. Once the blades have been organized into the specific jobs and send the jobs to the desired operations.
- BEVEL
- -Operating a CNC machine to create the bevel edge on blades and can spot and deficiencies with blades and using problem solving techniques to ensure the blades follow the standard work that is required.
- CNC HOOK CELL
- -Operating a robot to serrate the edges of the hooks and ensure there meet the specifications of the SKU running. The next step is cleaning the hooks and checking for smudges and metal shaving before packaging and sending them to the next operation.

- -This job entailed working with parents and their children who had mental and physical disabilities. When I would be assigned a client, I would oversee communication with the parents and teachers and that would help me for creating a custom plan for their child to help them with daily life and allowing them to prepare for an independence. I would create sessions that would last 4-6 hours that would entail learning tying shoes and learning basic math and social skills. It was a case-by-case basis with each client and we would revolve the session on what the client would be struggling with. Communication was key and having patience which helped me excel at this field.
