I started working at L.D. Clark as a summer job when I was in high school. After graduation I wasn’t sure what I wanted for my future. I continued on at the company as I was deciding. In June of 2025 I was let go because of lack of work. This was my push in the right direction. I thought about my future and it hit me, I would like to be an electrician. Mike Thelen told me about this program. I studied for test, took it and passed. I knew I wouldn’t let this opportunity go to waste. I have always enjoyed taking things apart and putting back together. I want to see how they work as well as try to improve on them. At my work cleaning ponds was one of my jobs. I needed to get algae out, our current process would have taken weeks. I created a floating device that spanned 100ft to get out in a day. I have experimented with my speakers system wiring for more efficient sound. Improving on flashlights when power went out for longer lasting light. I will always accept input on a more getting things done, it will give me more experience in completing my task.
I appreciate you taking the time to give me this opportunity.
