Service Technician I
6 Years 7 Months- As a Service Technician I, I answer calls and log technological issues in a fast -paced environment within the IT Support Center.
- I provide clientele with first-class level support on computers, laptops, printers, and applications within the Texas Legislative Council and sister agencies.
- I also log the incoming calls I receive into the HEAT call tracking system. At times, I also refer calls or tickets through the HEAT application to second-hand level technicians and HUB referral coordinators depending on the severity of the call or ticket that is processed.
Legislative Imaging Technician
1 Year 2 Months- As a Legislative Imaging Technician, I processed and scanned legislation into a council based application so that it could be reviewed and used to update legislative files via any technological device.
- I also performed routine work on cut-sheet printers, pre- and post finishing devices, scanners and work issued computers.
- In addition, I processed requests and prepared legislative documents and publications for delivery. I worked under general supervision with some latitude for use of initiative and independent judgement.
- In this line of work, it was imperative that I showed attention to detail to ensure that I scanned and updated the correct file(s) in order to maintain confidentiality within the Texas Legislative Council.
Assistant Teacher
1 Year 2 Months- As an Assistant Teacher at Kumon, I guided students at the elementary level to excel in the subjects of Mathematics and Reading.
- As an Administrative Assistant I answered calls and questions and made appointments for conference periods, received and filed paper-work, and I also prepared and filed the students work folders.
Spanish Teacher
2 Years 1 Month- I taught Spanish to a wide range of students from 3 to 14 years of age, Pre-k 3 to 8th grade.
