• Coordinator of movements throughout the facility for staff and patients. Resource and troubleshoot situations that may arise. Voice of leadership in off-hours and weekends. Management of complaints and grievances. Communication with our main facility and outlying facilities to coordinate care and encourage patient traffic through the Edmond campus. Assisting any unit that requires support. Management of any house-wide emergent situations. Maintain EMTALA compliance.

This role went from Supervisor, Manager, to Interim Director over five years. This role included answering to superiors regarding financial matters, employee relations, safety awareness, and standards of care. Relieving on the unit as needed in a clinical setting. Maintaining and education where needed following regulatory visits.

The position has evolved to become a crucial part of operations with additional responsibilities like PICC line insertions.
