Aimee Nissley

• Started as a summer intern focused on automated testing using Cypress, and I was selected to create tests for another team as well based on my adept testing skills
• After the summer, they kept me on part-time so that I could continue helping my team as I finished up the last semester of my Master's degree, and I was then transitioned to full-time
• I have helped with setting up a development environment using Terraform & AWS, and debugging for the GEGD program
• SAFE Scrum Master certified & have experience as a scrum master as well as an RTE.

• I was one of two students accepted for an internship with the Horizon Team where I helped to create a new widget for the production phone claim website
• I also implemented code fixes for existing bugs, participated in AWS training, enhanced my programming skills via a team book club, and worked through specific problems to better understand JavaScript and Web Development
• Through classes taught by Asurion employees, I also learned about various development tools, the basics of machine learning, and different testing approaches.

• I was selected to intern on the internal CAB Team where I worked with a small agile team to upgrade the way several internal projects build their systems
• I also completed projects such as writing python and bash scripts to check disk space on multiple servers, researched and began to implement a switch from OracleJDK to OpenJDK, and created the entire User Interface for my intern team project.

• I was one of two students accepted to be an intern for the CWL Team where I completed a number of solo tasks to improve the tools used by the company
• I also completed projects such as improving Wireshark dissectors using Lua, writing a python script to insert the correct copyright into the desired files, and creating a complex drag-n-drop tool from scratch using Java Swing.
