Cover Letter

Dear: Hiring Personnel, I am looking forward to getting the opportunity to interview for positions in the area of education. I graduated from Rasmussen College in March of 2016 with an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, with an emphasis in Special Education, and hold a Minnesota teaching certificate. I worked in education for several years as a paraprofessional in the elementary school setting. Upon college graduation, I started working as a Pre-K teacher with Head Start as a lead teacher. Next, I worked in a private school as a Pre-K After Program teacher as well as a substitute teacher for the building. Most recently, I have been a reading tutor for first through third grade. I have a passion for education and partnering with families. In the future, I hope to further my education and become a licensed teacher. With my college training and experience, I feel that I could be valuable team member. Thank you for your consideration, Aimee Wallen
