Summary

I have acted a lead teacher in a 3 year old class since September of 2022. In this capacity I have designed lessons plans, taught the children and prioritized their safety. Though I have worked with some co-teachers, I have often had to maintain the classroom on my own.

I believe in mostly teaching through play. I think almost anything you do with children from center/indoor play to lunch to outdoor play can be used in learning.

I believe in positive reinforcement, guidance and redirection for keeping order in the classroom. I believe that my job as a teacher goes beyond academics. I want to foster healthy attitudes, encourage free thought and building confidence as much as I can within state regulations and center guidelines.
