Picker: I use Amazon's technology to locate items purchased by customers to pull and complete orders. This is done on foot or by operating a forklift type of machine. I have also been trained in other areas to help out where needed.

• Jugular and cephalic blood draws on canines and felines, fill correct tubs, spin and label correctly for lab and track them Swab ears and set up slides to view, take vitals, take care of animals boarding at the facility (walk, feed, give medications, clean kennels, log information, etc.) Set up fluid machines, change fluid bags, disconnect and stop an animal that is on fluids, reconnect fluids

• I am trained and very familiar with the Avimark system: I know how to check in patients, do my own tech appointments, get information from an owner and update the system prior to the veterinarian seeing the patient, answer incoming calls, triage, schedule appointments, add charges, change charges, check out a patient, take payments, set follow up reminders, text or email clients back that have questions
• I am trained to refill and dispense prescriptions, give medication instructions, and teach clients how to administer medications
• Draw up meds used to sedate then log and update controlled substance log
• Restrain an animal that is being intubated, shave and scrub the surgical site, set up an animal on the surgery table, monitor post-surgery, deflate and remove the tubes of an intubated animal
• I can give fluids subcutaneously, discharge and give post-surgery instructions to owners
• Operate a xray machine, position the animal, set up an infrared laser machine, do treatments on and off contact with the laser safely
• Daily cleaning: vacuum, mop, dry mop, clean tables, clean kennels, do laundry, dishes, clean surgical instruments, put them in/set up ultrasonic machine, get instruments ready to be added to packs, assemble packs and set up autoclave
• Post surgery sterilization of OR and many other veterinary technician tasks.

• Call insurance companies to resolve claim problems, call patients with outstanding balances to get them paid or set up payment plans, return patient phone calls, answer incoming calls and triage or send calls to the medical assistant for further assistance, medical records, monthly reports in excel, daily deposit, data entry of claims, etc.
